Sanctity of Life
If life is to be revered in itselfWhy does the tiger have claws?
The Hawk have talons?
The serpent, fangs?
Are not these instruments of death
also instruments of life?
That which is taken from one
is given to another
An exchange of breath
Life itself cannot be revered without stumbling over
this fatal contradiction,
Indeed, such moral dilemmas may well be the rabbit holes
on the path to enlightenment
